anybody knows whats "v-sync on green", the thing is that i wanna buy the linux for the playstation 2, but it says that our monitors have to be "v-sync on green" compatible or something. my monitor is a dell m780? can someone help me figure out this problemo, thanko yo

the worst failure is not trying........so go ahead and TRY to overclock your cpu to 5ghz

You will need to contact Dell and ask them if your monitor supports sync on green.

Most monitors use 5 signals one each for red, green and blue, and one for horizontal sync and one for vertical sync. Sync on green monitors use three connections, one for red, one for blue and the two sync signals are run on the green video signal.

it's actually called Csync-on-green (composite H+V signals on the green line) this is used by workstation manufacturers such as SGI, neXt, DEC etc.
