Hello,
I have a wireless mouse on my computer that I have not use for a while and now the wireless keyboard and mouse will not work. I have checked the batteries.

If you have old batteries in any device they can corrode. If there has been any corrosion happening in there (crusty yellowish white powder) then there may be a ground issue. Using good lighting inspect the contacts and if there appear to be any corrosion clean it up with a knife or some electrical contact cleaner. Is the set bluetooth? Have you changed computers or anything like that?
