what just happened g2a

i just bought a game from g2a and while its downloading my whole computer is F'D UP. Slow mouse moving, browsing laggy...what is this did i just get a virus, can you get a virus from redeeming keys from g2a?

Update, it finsihed downloading and its fine now, but what the hell just happend

Well it's not a problem with the key nor with g2a, just something happened with your installer. What did you download? Which game that is?

My guess is you activated it in steam and started downloading. Well sometimes steam does fck up your PC really hard when it starts downloading and decompressing, so it should not be an issue.

Weird. Well thanks. I scanned it with bitdefender and it was fine. Just kinda worried who on g2a can get my card information but hopefully everything will be fine

Nah they can't get any information, nor they will try to, their reputation and income is way more important than all the money you can have in your card anyways. Some part of your PC lagged up, sounds like a HDD problem most likely since steam goes to 100% hdd usage when it decompresses the downloaded files but still unless it starts happening on regular basis under no load, I wouldn't be worried.

Whoops hit wrong button. Yeah I actually installed this one on my ssd because ill prob die a lot and its not a big game. I only have a couple games on my ssd and rest on the hdd
