What keyboard should I purchase for gaming?

I am looking for a good keyboard for gaming. I am quite comfortable with both membrane and mechanical keyboards, but I would honestly prefer mechanical. I would like it to have back lights and be wired (preferably braided cable). I am trying to keep the price under $100.
I have already found a Razer DeathStalker expert edition for $35 on a website I know is trustworthy (only one in stock so I'm not gonna say what site), but it says the keyboard is *Recertified* and I would like to know what this means before I buy.
Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

Razer DeathStalker is a very good keyboard for the price.
Re certified -> may be, first set stock keyboard could have some bugs. they again rectified and fixed the problems.
