What kind of case fits all?

I have this desktop build that i've upgraded a lot recently and I think it's about time to get a case with more than one fan mount. Should any motherboard be able to fit into any case? I want lots of space for upgrading and airflow, and areas for every PC component. Do I need to list my hardware or are cases standardized? I preferably want a case with one see through side while being around or less then 100 dollars. thankyou.

case should support the MB size you have - i.e. ATX, micro ATX, mini ITX
case should also have enough clearance for the CPU cooler - not all cases are deep enough.
case should also support the Graphics Card length.

Motherboards and cases are standardized to size specifications. Most common are ATX, microATX, and mini ITX (going from bigger to smaller).

Motherboards fit into cases with associated size standards, being: ITX, mATX, ATX, E-ATX. Think of them as "Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large"

If you want the most compatibility, and plenty of fan support...go with an ATX Case (with ATX Motherboard).

I use a msi z68ma-ed55 (b3) mobo and my cpu is an i5 2500k with a large hyper cooler master heat sink and fan.

It's a micro ATX motherboard, so seek out the same size of case. An ATX case will work too, but might look goofy if you're wanting to show it off with side panel.

Of all the cases listed so far only one supports a 5.25" drive, the CM690III. Something to consider if you'd like to continue using physical media without an external drive.

Does the Phanteks Eclipse P400 fit a cooler master hyper 212 evo with a gtx 1060 size gpu? If it does, I think i'll buy it.

Thank you everyone! This was the last I needed to know for high end PC by spending less than 400$ with the help of Tom's hardware and an old PC given to me by my neighbor. Super happy.
