Hey guys.
I have $1,200. I'm not saying thats how much I want to spend, but thats how much I have total and my budget can't go over that by more than a couple dollars.
Right now, I have an AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE at 4ghz, An MSI AMD Radeon 7850 TF III 2GB and 2GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM. I used to have 4GB, but one of my sticks died. I also have a 160GB HDD that is absolute garbage and sounds like a blender full of grenades and thumbtacks 24/7. This build was on the tightest budget ever and I scavenged as many parts as I could for free.
I want to build a new computer. I want to be able to play games like Day Z, Garry's Mod, Grand Theft Auto IV, Far Cry 3, Skyrim, and Battlefield 4, as well as sequels like Grand Theft Auto V, The Elder Scrolls VI, and Battlefield 5 when they are released.
What parts do you think would be good for me? Keep in mind, I also need a 1080p monitor because the one I use right now is a crappy 32" 1360x768 TV. I don't have the money yet so I still have time to wait on parts. I should be buying the parts in March when I get my income tax check. So, waiting for Maxwell is an option. Here is my currents part list, please tell me what you think. Also, do you think the GPU/CPU are good enough for me to record my gameplay in some games with FRAPs?
