[SOLVED] What kind of internal storage can I add to this PC?

Currently I have a 1TB HDD mounted on top of this:

I usually rely on external storage to run games but recently been getting I/O errors on them, so decided to invest on internal since I heard its more reliable allegedly.
From that picture, what sort of upgrade can I get? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I think that thing on the left is a slot for a M2 NVMe or am I dreaming? Thinking on getting something like a WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD:

Otherwise I think that red one is an extra SATA slot? Hopefully someone can give me some advice..on what I can do and whats decently reliable/affordable for my PC. Thanks!

yes the thing on the left is an m.2 slot and the orange one is a second sata port.

what type of m.2 that is needs more info. it might be sata or pcie, but can't know without the motherboard model or the model of the laptop it came out of or something else to go on.

the m.2 slot obviously take little room, but again no clue what room you have for a sata drive without knowing what it is inside of.
