What kind of Mic should i get or solution for just haing a mic with surround sound.

HI, I've got a small issue please let me know if it can be solved. Well first I hate headsets I don't like how they feel and I would have to spend about 500 dollars just to get one that sounds as good as the surround sound system I have already. The only reason I need a mic is that I've joined a group in game and it would be very helpful if I had a good mic to be able to chat. What type of mic should I get for this? I know I can always enable push to talk instead of it picking up game sounds and turning on automatically. So basically I need help in figuring out what type of mic should I be getting and setup hardware if all that ill need.

If that's the case then you don't need a headset w/ mic. They sell all kinds of 'mics only' at Bestbuy, Walmart, Guitar Center, etc... You could either get one that plugs in via USB or the standard 3.5mm jack.
