What kind of watts do the ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1 6GHz Dual-Core) AM

what kind of power supply do i need in watts. does the ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD A50M Hudson M1 Mini ITX use? all i have is a 600 watt power supply. is that powerful enough for the mother board that i have. the ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD A50M Hudson M1 Mini ITX..i would really like some help. does anyone know what type of power supply that mother board takes??

600 whats would power 5 of those boards with some spare room

with cpu and gpu burn in running the cpu should consume about 30 watts and then you could add a few for the mobo (not much) and memory... and fan and hdd... so maybe 60 watts... for everything... and that's probably shooting high

Like slhpss said, 600w is massively excessive for that low power system. In all likelihood the system you've mentioned there will only uses about 150w at the most. I don't know what case or what other components you are planning on using, but something like the Corsair CX430, the Bequiet! SFX Power BN134 350W or the Antec Basiq VP350P 350W would supply your PC nicely with capacity going spare. That said there is no reason you can't use the 600w PSU with your lower power system, it's just not particularly efficient.

You could easily use smaller PSUs than the ones I've mentioned, I just don't know any smaller ones made by reputable companies like Corsair, Antec or BeQuiet!.

It can't fry your motherboard, because it will only take how much it needs. 600 Watt is basically how much you have available. A motherboard will work fine on a 430W or a 1200W power supply.

if you're using on board video and audio and it's just going to be a mobo/cpu/ram/hdd you could use a 90 watt power supply and be fine... I have a similar setup (click the link about my htpc) using a DC-DC ATX 150W Pico PSU. but if you have the 600w use it it's not going to hurt the system it's just going to be inefficient (more electricity will be generated than used and generate some heat don't worry not a ton) most PSUs don't hit there efficiency max unless they are 50% loaded or more... like I said this won't hurt your computer but your bill will be higher (by a few pennies) compared to using a smaller PSU that would be running more efficiently
