What kinds of games would I be able to play with this setup?

I want to buy a custom built gaming pc from someone and would like to know how well it would run games (high end games that is) and if possible record/stream while playing them?

AM3+ 970 Chipset ATX Motherboard
Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 "Maxwell" 1GB GDDR5
AMD FX 8320 Vishera 3.5 ghz
8gb ram but planning on upgrading to 16gb

8gb ram is plenty ,but the gtx 750 is a weak card - new titles at 1080p you're going to be running at low settings for anywhere near 60fps.

You need to enquire what model the motherboard & PSU are exactly aswell before considering buying it.

RAM is the last thing you should be worrying about.
Your CPU is mid ranged & your GPU is very entry level.

You should be able to play 1080P modern games at lowest settings smoothly.

How much was he wanting for that setup ??
If the motherboard & psu are decent quality & its reasonably cheap it maybe worth buying & just replacing the GPU

Give that a miss mate - at $400 it would have been worth a punt.
At that price with what could be a substandard psu & mb he's taking the p1ss IMO.

To put in perspective mate,same CPU,aftermarket cooler,very good quality mb,case,RSM & psu.
Including windows 8 & a gtx 960 ( at least teice as powerful as a 750) & only $30 more brand new.
This isn't a thorough build recommendation but a quick one to show you that was a rip off.
