We dual boot 2 machines.
My acer laptop with Vista / Ubuntu 11.10.
Mrs HP Desktop with Windows 7 / Ubuntu 11.10.
G router gave up - Hooked up old Linksys "B" router and gave it "HOME" network connection. (Wireless)
WEP encrypted - yes weak I know.
Problem: Something creating weird connections / networks -
Wife lost internet - "HOME 2" connected - not ours...
I had internet - also had "network 4", "network 5", and "unknown network" -- ALL not ours.
Anybody know where this stuff comes from?
If I boot into linux I cannot find these networks listed but will have still lost internet connectivity.
To get internet back - I have to shutdown and unplug wireless router.
Then all goes back to normal...
Thanks for any ideas.
