What manufacturer to choose?

Hey,
Im planning to buy myself a pair of GTX 980 Ti's.
Should I buy a Hybrid Cooled, or an Air Cooled?
Should I be looking for high factory OC's, or look to overclock myself?
Are there any other details and extras I should be paying attention to?

There's only two brands of 980ti out right now AFAIK, Gigabyte and EVGA. I'd choose EVGA over Gigabyte any day.

Is there any general advice regardin the other questions I asked? So I know what to look for when other manufacturers will release their's and there'll be more variety.
