A good 2x4GB kit is all you need for gaming. 1600 or 1866MHz. If you want to OC some go higher. Your MB and CPU can OC memory pretty high.

If you want to save money, this kit will do nicely for you. I have used it in a couple builds.

As spooky2th said for simply gaming 1600/9 is sufficient, I'd also suggest investing a little more into the K model CPU (4670K), small investment for the ability to OC down the road, be like getting a free CPU upgrade
