What might be the cause of a lagging UEFI / BIOS?

Hello!
I build a brand new PC, but after around 3 days the UEFI started to lag. Fortunately, when I am in windows it works without any problems.
The next day, while I was playing Assetto Corsa, windows started to "spam" me with this notification
"USB device not recognised"
I did not introduced a new USB device at that moment and my mouse, keyboard, headphone and wheel worked fine.
Also I wasn't able to control the speed of one of my fan which was connected to chassis fan 3. This fan came with the case (NZXT H440). Although this isn't a big problem.
The next day, when I entered the UEFI it was way smoother but it wasn't as smooth as the first 2 days.
I have not updated my UEFI/ BIOS.
I have not overclocked anything in my system except that I used the xmp profile of my ram so that I get the advertised speed.
What might cause the lagging UEFi? Could it be the motherboard failing?

My specs are:

Windows 10 home 64 bit

Motherboard:
Asrock z370 extreme 4

CPU
I7 8700K

GPU
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW

RAM
Corsair 16 GB DDR4 2660 mHz
(I can not remeber the specific model at the moment)

Hard disk
WD 1 TB 7200 RPM

SSD
Intel 760p Series 256 GB PCI Express 3.0 x4 M.2 2280

PSU
EVGA SuperNOVA G3, 80+ Gold, 750W

Everything running at stock? I'd update to latest UEFI to eliminate that. Windows and drivers all updated as well? Power supply model?

Everything is running at stock.
I have all the drivers updated except the VGA and Floppy driver that are located in the download section of the asrock z370 extreme 4' website. When I tried to install one the the 2 drivers (I can not remember which ) it displayed an error which said that my PC does not reach the minimum requirements. The other driver did not have an .exe file.
I'm going to update the UEFI in the near future.
Windows is updated too.
My PSU is EVGA SuperNOVA G3, 80+ Gold, 750W
