Was recently gifted a GTX 1070. My current setup is nearly 5 years old. Want to upgrade MOBO, CPU, RAM. Don't have a budget, but at the same time just looking for something to last the next 2 years or so. Also not overclocking or running SLI.

Your current specs are fine to run with that 1070 although I'd use it with a 1440P monitor or run your games at 2xDSR.

If possible hold off on the upgrade for two months, Ryzen 3rd gen should be out in early July and looks promising or at the very least you could probably get a really good deal on first/second gen Ryzen CPU's.

I'm currently using a 1080p 144hz monitor. Not really interested in going up res. FPS priority for me.
I guess I'll just wait a couple of months.
