I have just controlled, and b550 aren't compatible with my R3 3200g, in some month i will upgrade to a r7 3700x, but I think that i will go for the x570. ThanksI'd go for the B550 since its very similar to the X570 one, while being 30 euros cheaper
That motheboard supports R7 3700X,why would you want to change it?now I have a b450m-a pro max
Then just put the 3700x in it, for now. No need to upgrade the board, just yet. You can do that later, if you really want to.now I have a b450m-a pro max
It wouldnt be 'ok' if you are trying to push mad overclocks on it,for a basic non overclocked cpu,its perfectI don't think that a cheap mobo is ok for a ryzen 7, and I would buy a x570 for future-proof.
The 3700x is a 65w chip. It will be fine. Just enable PBO, and let it do its own thing. There is no such thing as future proof. Ryzen 6000 series will be a new socket, and most likely ddr5 ram.I don't think that a cheap mobo is ok for a ryzen 7, and I would buy a x570 for future-proof.
That's what I would do, stick with the b450. Just so you the know, the MPG X570 got horrible reviews because of really bad VRM performance, stay away from those. If later you do plan to upgrade your motherboard and want to stick with MSI the X570 Tomahawk is the way to go.Ok, so i will continue ti use my b450, thanks
