So as far as i'm concerned, all 3 monitors have color banding issues, ive also read that the acer predator has a sort of vertical tear of multiple pixels. Which of the brands will yield the best results for returning/replacing policies? Do I have to pay to ship back the monitor to all 3 companies? What would you suggest if not these? IPS glow and BLB sound like even more of an annoyance than TN and its more expensive...

Another thing, I've heard a lot of people say that 27 inches for 1440p is the best resolution and others say it can be grainy and that 24 inches is s better, so any form of a run down on that would be great.

Is amazon the best place to buy these due to the return policies and for dead pixels?

Solution
hey eline,

the dell has got a tn panel ( you can google more abotu tn vs ips), so I leave that out.

According to forums users the acer is a bit better because the asus has got a bigger bleeding issue.
To be honest, you get reallyt unlucky if you have got a bleeding issue, but you can easily return the monitors.
After downloading a ICC profile the colours will be way better, more info about that and reviews here: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/icc_profiles.htm

from my personal experience you want a 24 inch monitor for 1080p and 27 inch for 1440p, because if you cram 2k in a 24inch display the things will get so tiny , that your eyes will hurt and things will be so little to click on.

amazon is a good place but I heard newegg...

Have you ever used a 24" 1440p monitor before?

yes???

Ok just asking. I have a 23.8" 1440p monitor and it's just fine. I see a lot of people say things are too small, but every time I ask they say they've never used one, and are just using their imaginations to suspect that it might be too small.
