I am looking for a monitor to suit my needs.
The screen size should be 23-24 inches
It must not be more than 300 dollars
It must have HDMI input and USB 3.0 ports
1080p. No need for higher
Ips or led doesn't matter

The only monitor i'm able to find so far is the Dell U2414H , but do any of you have any better suggestions? Thank you

This ASUS monitor is really popular and has good specs (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236175). However, it doesn't have any USB 3.0 connections. Why do you need the monitor to have 3.0 slots, anyways? Can't you just use a USB 3.0 hub?

Few to no moniors have USB 3.0 ports, as the video cables don't transfer USB data, that means you need a USB going to the monitor in order for USB anyways. Also some traps is that the monitor has 3.0 ports but uses a 2.0 cable, so it's pretty impractical. Get a powered USB 3.0 hub, not just the standard 3.0 hubs.

It seems that i really need to slap myself for forgetting that a USB hub exists and that there is no need for USB ports on the monitor. Phew i almost blew myself by overpaying for stuff that i don't need. Thanks for the replies guys, you helped me a bunch :D

Then again, it that's the case, do you think the VS239H is a good buy?
