What monitor should I get?

I don't know if I should get the Acer Predator GN246HLB or the ASUS VG248QE. I've seen that the ASUS have recieved alot of great feedback, but aren't the Acer just as good? It looks like it basically has the exact same specs?

The asus has about 850 reviews on newegg almost completely positive. I don't anything about the acer though. I wouldn't think there would be anything necessarily bad about the acer.

You're definitely good to go! No worries with GTX 970.

At 1080p the gtx 970 wrecks. You shouldn't have any problems.
