What monitor should I get?

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB
1 TB HDD Western Digital

Hi guys. Need some help on what monitor to get for gaming and etc. l am looking for a monitor to game on. I play games such as CS:GO,GTA V, Rocket League, DOOM, The Witcher 3, and some movies as well. I am looking for a ultra-wide monitor but not sure about the specifications in terms of:

• Resolution
• Response time>refresh rate or refresh rate>response time
• Curved or not curved

I am not worried about the price just need help on what monitor to get based of the games I play and PC specifications. Thank you

Well you could easily handle 2k resolution, you would also have the FPS to utilize a 144hz monitor. The question being do you want 2k AND 144hz? Do you want g-sync on top of it (if you're going 144hz you do if you can afford)?

Side note: pick up an SSD for a main drive, you'll love it.

I will pick up a SSD, thanks for the side note. But yes I want g-sync. 2k resolution by 1080 or 1440? Don't even know about that either.
