What monitor should i get?

Solution
Newegg ship from Ontario I believe (and the monitor linked ships from Canada), so you should have that within a week, easily.

PCCanada is also Ontario based, so I would be very surprised if you couldn't receive from them within a week, although I've no experience buying from them myself.

In Montreal though, you could look at Microbytes.
For example, at $240, there's a 27" LG IPS display @ 1080p/60Hz...

Without knowing what it'll be paired with and your intended uses, it's impossible to say for sure.

That being said:
In Canada, there's a bit of a gulf between ~23" 1080p 60 Hz /nonIPS ($140 or so), and >25" 1080p 60Hz /nonIPS (~$200), eating up most of your budget for anything semi-worthwhile.

Then, for a very minimum "bump" in price; there's a solid IPS, 75Hz Ultrawide (2560x1080) monitor for $215

Now, whether an Ultrawide is fit for purpose for you, I don't know. But as a "value" proposition, I'm not seeing much better here in Canada right now.

Hi, I have a ryzen 5 1400 paired with a gtx 1070 and yes it will be used mainly for gaming.

The 2560x1080 ultrawide I linked should give you a pretty solid gaming experience.

Anything less (from a cost perspective) looks a little poor by comparison.
You can't find much for $200 CAD that would be overly worthwhile pairing with a 1070.
You can find a 24" 144Hz 1080p Acer for ~$250

But I'd be much more inclined to look at the ultrawide.

Thank you I will consider it. The only problem is that it ships within 2 to 4 weeks from where I live and I need one right now. What 1080p 60hz monitor would you recommend that I could use as a secondary monitor later on?

I'm located in Montreal and I'm using a 720p 32" tv right now so I would like to get the monitor as fast as possible (like 1 week maximum).
