Dude you have to specify the budget you wanna go for and whether you're looking at getting 3d or not.
IF you want to go for something under 200$, I've recently employed myself as a propagator of Benqs' RL2455hm, it has a 1 ms response time, good color, full hd, crisp, overall it's a very nice 24 incher.
Now If you want a budget 3d monitor then I'd suggest anAOC e2352Phz.
If you want a professional monitor then the Dell UltraSharps are pretty much standard when it comes to video and photo editing.
If you want a higher end 3D monitor, you can take a look at the Benq XL series.
