What monitor to choose in dual monitor? Help!!

Solution
Personally, if you've got a monitor and are adding another, I'd add a second one that is as close to your existing one in terms of dimensions, resolution and appearance (having visually disparate monitors next to each other is off-putting, in my experience). If you're looking for two new monitors, I would highly recommend looking at some of the ultra-thin bezel or "bezel-less" (aka "neo blade") monitors - it provides a noticeable benefit.

One thing I would add - unless the screens are designed for colour-critical work, you are quite likely to notice a difference in colour balance/contrast between the two screens (I noticed this with a pair of NEC 19" 1280x1024 VA screens and Iiyama 22" 1920x1080 TN screens). I found this distracting, and ended up using a spectrometer to produce an ICM profile for each of the screens (this fixed colour balance, black point, and white point issues, which in turn stopped the eye-strain I was experiencing).

For what it's worth, I have a pair of Dell U2515H's, which tile together very nicely and are absolutely lovely screens (and factory colour-calibrated). Therefore, I'd say the U2415H that you list is a good choice (or the U2414H for 1080p).

Solution

Thanks. I was in dilemma on getting another 24 inch monitor or just get 29 inch monitor to replace dual monitor setup. Now either just get another ASUS monitor which will be cheaper than getting another 29 inch monitor.
