What monitor to upgrade to on a budget?

I'm thinking of upgrading my current setup (1 pretty good tv) to a dual monitor gaming setup, preferably a 144Hz, 1080p monitor with a decent screen size. But I have a pretty limited budget, I wouldn't want to spend more than £350 on the pair, which is understandably difficult to find a good 1080p 144Hz gaming monitor that'll fit that budget, hence why I came here. I run an AMD rig, so nvidia benefits are of no use to me. If you know of a monitor that's decent and that doesn't break the bank, please let me know. I am however, willing to stretch the budget if there are few options.

Why not buy a good single monitor, like a 27"1440P monitor and use your tv as a side monitor?
Do you have a dual monitor capable game?
Most will default to the primary monitor only.

Do you have a cpu and gpu capable of delivering more than 60FPS?

The more monitors I look at, the more I'm weighing up just getting one and using the TV aswell a better option. I have enough computing power to use 2 monitors and get 60+ FPS on most games I own, but what would you recommend as a good monitor?
