What Monitor

Hi,

Just wanted an upgrade to my existing monitor.

basic use - gaming (movies etc get routed to my HDTV).

preferred resolution - 1080 + (current one can handle 1080)

size 23-24"

budget about 300 USD

I have this monitor and its amazing! I dont know for what price you can get it but its really cheap now.

Costco usually carries those Samsung monitors for a good price. I have 27" P2770 HD TV and monitor. Works well. I got it under $300

My budget is flexible, but as this is to be my gaming monitor, would prefer a high refresh rate and higher resolution

The Samsung is a nice monitor but is pegged at 1920x1080. Would prefer higher resolution on the monitor.

P.s I don't need a tv, have that already covered with a different unit

What kind of resolution are we talking about?

2500 x 1600 if I can? But that's a pipe dream.

Realistically I need a high refresh rate (120)and preferably 2k res. If I can't get hold of that for 300-400 dollars then I will look at 1920 x 1080 or 1920 x1200. Also my screen size has to be capped at 23 or 24". Don't have space for anything larger.

Am currently using my HDTV for my comp too but that's a pain when I need to actually work on it.
