Hi. so i am looking for a new monitor after accidentally breaking my last one but my budget is not big. i have been looking at the Gigabyte M27q as it is in my budget and seems to have a few nice faetures. i have read that it has bleed and reds are under saturated. is this so and is it a good choice for a monitor?

i also wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions for a monitor choice. i play some e-sports and game casually so i think a QHD monitor is fine for this. i have a budget of £340

Well, i don't mind bleeding much (i do see it in the blacks in my ED320QR, which is kinda irritating if you move around fast or rotate the camera too much), but since you'll be playing esports i think you'd do better to avoid bleeding.

From my POV, i'd recommend the
Acer Nitro VG271U
[weird name, isn't it?]
here's the amazon link:-

GIGABYTE AORUS FI27Q
it looks pretty cool that's for sure, well, the nitro i suggested has 144Hz only [but overclockable to 165, so can reach there unless you don't want to fidget around in your computer], but it's (the gigabyte) substantially higher priced than that nitro, if you can/want to get it, go ahead

How did you break your monitor?

A Monitor is a long term investment.
Bust your budget for a great one.

To my mind, larger is better. Particularly for web browsing.
IPS is usually a better image.
It is best if you can see some candidates in perspn.

I might look at this LS 32" unit.

Well, my ED320QR, just after pressing the power button, shows AMD freesync premium written in the bottom right

If you can risk/want to open your monitor and power it up, probably it shows the feature like that too, otherwise I'd say check gigabytes own site about the monitor.
https://www.gigabyte.com/Monitor/AORUS-FI27Q#kf

I saw the description and it seems it has AMD freesync premium indeed.
