what monitors have hdmi 1.4 or later

Hey, I have recently had to return a benq xl2411z because it's hdmi port was 1.3 and not 1.4 and newer which allows for refresh rates of 120hz at 1080p.

I currently only have the lenovo y700 which is able to play games (only has a hdmi port (1.4)) which is why I need a monitor that is able to give me 120hz using a hdmi cable (I belive 120hz is the maximum)

Are there any suggestions? as when looking for monitors through amazon and the brands site (benq, acer ect..) I can't find the hdmi version.

Hello.

HDMI 1.4b doesn't support 120hz @ 1080p. Only HDMI 2.0.

The only monitor I know which supports 120hz over HDMI is the Acer XF270HU.

I'm pretty sure 1.4b supports 1080p@120.

The spec sheet of HDMI 1.4b says that this is for 3D only. There's probably a workaround, but initially, it wasn't made for supporting 120hz in 2D.
