So my pc stopped working on my gaming pc, the fan in the psu case stopped working weeks ago, then last night it kept shutting off. Now it wont turn on.

So I'm planning on replacing both the motherboard and psu.

my system specs are:

cpu: amd fx 6300
mobo: ASUS m5a99fx pro r2.0
Gpu: Sapphire Radeon R9 270 Dual‑X OC with Boost
the currant psu came with the raidmax case.
Psu: raidmax thunder v2 535w

Im happy with the way m pc performs on most games so I don't want to upgrade more than needed.

my budget is around $200.

what mobo should I get? or should I get a identical one? and what psu will be the most efficient replacement.

thanks for any recommendations I appreciate it.

EVGA G2 are some decent units that go for 80 bucks for a 550W unit. Don't think you'll consume more than that.

Motherboard I personally like Gigabyte's 990FXA series, think a 990FXA-UD3 R5 is around $100

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 R5 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($110.05 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.99 @ Jet)
Total: $190.04
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
