Hi I have purchased the fx-8350 black edition, gigabyte windforce GTX 780 and a 1x8gb ram stick. I need a motherboard for about $150 that supports : 1x8gb ram, am3+, and the GTX 780 PCI express 3.0. I know its a tall order but I don't know anything about motherboards and I could use the help please.

Sadly I cant afford this since I bought the GTX780 but between the asus m5a99x pro r2.0 and the gigabyte ga-990FXA-UD3 which would be better for over clocking? Also can you say your 100% sure it can support 1x8gb ram I only bought one stick thinking it was a 2x4GB but when it showed up I was wrong...

I would select the Asus and yes both boards will support running a single stick ram.

My GPU will be overclocked with its standard fans it is suppose to overclock to a titan's standard performance.

Thanks for the help I will get the Asus m5a99 pro r2.0. But on a completely different topic would you happen to know were to get windows 8.1 64-bit download? I dont have a dvd drive for this build and need the download windows is overcharging for it on their website I feel but if there is no other place that is were I'll get it. Also can this computer turn on without windows installed and launch the internet to allow me to download it or do I have to use a usb stick? Answer if you know but if you don't thats fine too.

If you don't have any OS you can't. You can use the Linux. Or if you can wait there is on sale from newegg.com sometime, but you can get the free Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation for now.

If you don't have the DVD, you need use the USB method to install the win8.1. Here is some info for how to.
