Question what motherboard do i need

so i have an EVGA Geforce GTX 960 ssc 2g but i dont know what kind of motherboard i need so im thinking about MSI Motherboard X58 Pro MS-7522 VER 3.1 because it has ddr3 and supports an i7 920 which are the parts i have but i just dont know if it will work out if i get it

GPU choice has nothing to do with the motherboard. PCI Express is fully backwards and forwards compatible.

Yes, you will need an X58 board for an i7-920.
