what motherboard drivers to download?

Solution
1. Before you start, disable Win 10s ability to install hardware drivers. If not WU will overwrite all your efforts. likely screwing a few things up in the process.

2. If don't have latest BIOS, install that 1st.

3. Assuming Win 10 64 and also suggest that you D/L manual. Mush easier to open the PDF and search using "Find" function in Adobe Reader than going page by page in paper book.

4. On higher end boards, I always recommend installing the drivers on the CD / DVD in the box:

a) It often includes specially licensed utilities or apps that won't be available on the web site.
b) It establishes a 'fresh built" outta the box "working' condition...
download and install IN ORDER:
1) chipset driver - "Intel INF installation" you dont want the management interface
2) network card
3) sound driver - pick the driver for whatever chip you have installed

you will probably need to reboot after each one

What sata raid/ahci drivers should I download? I also installed a new SSD and changed the IDE to AHCI in my BIOS. Do I just download "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5"? Also, what about the BIOS, manual, and utility drivers? Are they optional?

5. Assuming Win 10 installed hardware drivers for LAN, you can do this

Option 1 ... do this...pick what ya want, then then ya done. It installs everything you want (checked) and does it in the right order; very simple.

As i recall, there's a working version of this on the CD.

6. If ya wanna do manually, and skip the CD install, make sure you download at least the LAN driver from the website from another PC and save on a USB. Then ya can go in and d/l direct from new PC.

7. Install chipset driver, update LAN driver, install AHCI / SATA drivers, skip RAID unless applicable) Audio drivers, (in order), VGA driver if ever wanna use IGP. Do not install any LAN software just the driver.

8. Go thru all the utilities in the MoBo manual and install APPcenter and all the ones that you will make use of.
