Hi I'm wanting to buy this CPU

Which is a Xeon e5 2667

I think it needs ddr3 is that right as all the motherboards ive seen are ddr4 I was wondering if it would work.

The mother board I want is this one Fatal1ty X99m would that CPU work with this mother board and ddr4 ram

Also if you know any matx mother boards for this CPU for as cheap as possible please advise

No, the Xeon 2667 is not compatible with Fatal1ty X99m, because the cpu is lga2011 with DDR3, the MB is lga2011-3 with DDR4. You will need the X79 MB for the Xeon e2667, like http://www.ebay.com/p/ASRock-X79-Extreme6-LGA-2011-Socket-R-Intel-Motherboard/127305522
