What motherboard for an i7 7700k?

What is the best motherboard under $120 (possibly can stretch budget if necessary) for the i7 7700k? I will be overclocking to maybe 4.5-4.8. Also, will my motherboard actually affect my performance in games?

Any Z270 motherboard will do really. But under that tight Budget, it looks like youll have to stick to something like ASRock. They are a good brand, don't get me wrong, and they sell motherboards cheap.


Motherboards don't usually affect game performance, most people are talking about the Bios or the overclocks it can reach. The Bios does actually affect game performance btw.

Agreed,
whichever one from any of the reputable brands that has 8 phase power with some dedicated cooling.
I used to go on ebay and see whichever I could get the cheapest used, but if you buy new, then just go by whichever has the most ports/features you want for the right price
