What motherboard for an Intel i7 4770?

I do not plan on overclocking and read that the z87 are overkill since I dont overclock. Is that true? Can I go with a cheaper motherboard then? What are my options? My build would be for gaming only. I only have one monitor 1080p. Thanks for the response
