Question What motherboard for i5 9400f?

I was going to preface this with the reason I need to ask this but there’s no real need so:

I need the cheapest motherboard to pair with the i5 9400f and I haven’t seen anyone pair it with like a h310 and I’m not even sure if it would be compatible.

So my question is could I pair the 9400f with the MSI H310-F PRO (with a bios update as I have an 8th ten cpu) and, if not, which motherboard would I need to pair it with (preferably cheapest).
