The difference between the two is that the gaming 5 can overclock ddr3 up to 3200MHz while the SLI can onlt do it up to 3000Mhz

also the gaming 5 supports Blaster X-Fi MB3 while the SLI doesn't

The gaming 5 also has better PCI express

The gaming 5 supports 3-way sli tech while the SLI only supports 2-way
