So i'm really confused about all of the z370's motherboards out there i know that it depends if i'll get a lucky chip or not but i want to get the best motherboard to push my i7 8700k to the limit my budget is around 150 - 200 Euro
i was about to buy an Asus ROG Strix z370-f but iv'e heared that the vrm in it is not that good and it will effect my oc.

my pc specs:

what i have now:

GPU: MSI AERO GTX 1060 3GB OC
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3000Mhz
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 Series 700 W 80 Plus
SSD: Samsung 860 Evo Internal 250GB + 1TB HHD Toshiba

What i want to buy:

CPU: Intel i7-8700K
Cooler: Noctua NH D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4 20.96 x 20.96 x 18.42 cm (the big version)
Mobo: maybe the Asus ROG Strix z370-f
Pc Case link: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07G4TZPQK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&psc=1

i'm really confused what cooler should i buy? i heared that the Noctua NH D15 is the best but i like the Dark Rock Pro 4 more because it fits my red+black Setup
and about the motherboard is the Asus ROG Strix z370-f good enough to run my system at 5Ghz or more?

Thanks!

What % of I7-8700k chips can oc
at a aggressive vcore near 1.4 or so and delidded
4.9 99%
5.0 88%
5.1 54%
5.2 22%

Note the delidded caveat. That is a $50 process.

DRP4 is fine.

But, I might suggest that since you are doing a major upgrade that a 8 core i7-9700K might be a stronger option.
The 9th gen intel K processors have soldered heat spreaders so delidding is not necessary for heat control.

Prefer the Z390 motherboards over Z370, they seem to be better at voltage control.
Most any will do.
I do not think a top board is necessary unless you are looking at the i9-9900K beast.
