So im building my first gaming PC (Im a newbie), and am unsure of what motherboard to purchase. Im looking for some advice and opinions on what to get, so far my build is as follows:
NZXT H440 ATX Mid Tower Case, Black And Red
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB PCI-E w/ ACX Cooler, Dual DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
Intel Core™ i5-4690K Processor, 3.50GHz w/ 6MB Cache
HyperX Genesis 8GB DDR3-1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit (2 x 4GB) w/ Intel XMP
WB 1TB Black Hard Drive, SATA III w/ 64MB Cache
Corsair RM Series RM850 Modular Power Supply
I have heard alot of good things about ASUS motherboards and was considering getting Z97-A or Z97-Pro. i also may just spring for a I7-4770k bundle that includes the ASUS Maximus VI Hero, but unsure if its worth the roughly $150.
Any responses are greatly appreciated
