So here are my specs

4670k
MSI R9 270X
2X4GB RAM @ 1600MHz
2x1TB HDD @ 7200RPM
Any 650w PSU Gold certified

If there is ANYTHING at all that you need to know that I didn't mention please tell me.

A budget would be good to know, and also if you plan to overclock (I'm assuming yes because you got the "k" version of your processor). My go to answer is the ASUS Maximus hero. It overclocks great and comes with lots of good features. But obviously, if you don't have $200, that won't work for you.

My budget is £500 but I ave till new year to find all parts on sale

I don't know what crossfire is but if it means run 2 gfx cards then no I will just upgrade. Also my budget is £500 but I ave till new year to find all parts on sale

For 500 GBP this full build would work but doesn't have the 4670k for overclocking the CPU:

It is hard to find a good quality gold rate PSU for less than 80-90 GBP at 650w.

Thanks for this. Do you know how I can run dual screens with this setup? Do I have to get a motherboard with 2 HDMIs? Also if I do run dual screen coudl I do something like have BF4 on ultra and have chrome open on my second screen?

For dual screens you would be connecting to the ports on the back of the GPU (any monitor should be connected to the GPU). The 270x should have at least 1 HDMI 1DVI 1 Display port so you wouldn't be able to run both off of HDMI but could do 1 HDMI 1DVI (both are HD ports). You could definitely run a game on 1 and browse on the other but it would be tough to game across both (takes more graphical power).

That is even better because I use my other HDMI port for PS3 and Wii U :)
Thank you so much for all of your help. Lastly is there ANYTHING else I should know? What anti-static bands to take, any particualer screws or cables? Also would a Zalman Z9 case be fit for this? As you can probably tell this is my first time doing something like this and I want a lot of room and air etc.
