I am about to start my new build (Intel i9 11th Gen) ordered already but I am killing myself over the motherboard. I really wanted the MSI Godlike but I don't know when it will be available to purchase. I have a budget of around $1000 for the motherboard. Any recommendations on something that I can purchase now?

Thank you in advance.

It's going to be mainly my work computer which I use for webdesign and encoding. I useally have a lot of apps running (editors, Photoshop, FTP, Slack, Ghost Browser & Chrome. I want this to be snappy, but I want to play some games on in also. I have a 2080 TI already that I will use. I am putting it in an icue 5000x case so I would like some good RGB. Also using a Samsung 980 Pro 2TB for the main drive.

I think I was unclear. What motherboard features are you looking for? The difference between a $150 motherboard and a $500 mostly comes down to specific features; both can do all the things you list above about equally well.

The answer for a motherboard recommendation depends on what your needs are. What are your needs? If it's just to spend money, then any expensive motherboard will do.

If you don't have specific needs and just want to spend money, that's your prerogative, of course, and any of those $500 motherboards will work just fine. But if you're not seeking to just pay top dollar and don't have specific motherboard features in mind that a $500 board does, I wouldn't want to recommend you something that costs you $300 extra that doesn't do what you need any better.
