What motherboard to choose??

Hi people
I have a question: which motherboard should i choose? Maximus viii hero or ranger i am owning a i5 6600k and yes i am planning to overclock it

ROG or HERO VIII

The hero board is part of the ROG line from Asus. Go with the hero board over the ranger you wont be disappointed at all. Ive been running the hero board line for the past 4 years Z77 and Z97 and both have done great, I would guess the z170 hero board will be nothing but great as well.
