Hello, Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, I'm new to the site. I need help determining what motherboards will fit in a old Emachine T2484 case and an old Compaq Presario SR1650NX case as I cannot find any answers online. I'm new to building a pc and I'm trying to build a good budget pc so I'm trying to reuse some old cases I have before paying $50+ on a case I dont know will work. Thanks everyone!

Solution
Those cases are not suitable for upgrading due to poor cooling, no place for additional fans.

Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case

On sale for $35.
Micro ATX / ATX / Mini ITX / E-ATX Motherboard Compatibility

Retail box motherboards usually don't use the front panel connectors that come with OEM cases. You will need to do some rewiring there on those old cases.

Presario SR1650NX says it uses an ATX form Factor motherboard 9.6 in x 9.6 in

You're right. Moving the system to another case is the best scenario. I was just trying to answer the posted question.
