This is my first pc build and i would like to know beforehand what drivers I need to install. The motherboard i'll be using is the MSI B450 Gaming Max Plus.

Also, do I need to download the LAN driver to use an ethernet cable or can I use it without the driver?

Solution
Would just install windows and download latest from MSI, windows has basic lan drivers so you should be able to do this. Do chipset drivers first, then lan and sound drivers, only after that gpu drivers.
If you have troubles to connect to the internet, download the latest on a usb stick via another pc, you can do this as precaution.

Just click on the "notes" and see if you need them, i personally rarely use them, but if i wanted to controll the lighting of my MSI gpu would i need to install "MSI Dragon Center"for that. Just the way it is. If you have a gpu of another brand use their tool to do that.

The "CPU-Z" tool can be handy to display info about what is in your system. I usually rather use hwinfo,

for just sensor info,

download hwinfo64,
install and open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run".

or for system specs (don't check anything),

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "Summary for Clipboard",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
The system summary is, if you don't close it, for the user himself a good oversight of what is in the pc as well. The way i described above is usually handy when needing other peoples parts, they can just copy/paste what is in that little window with parts.
