Planning to get case fans for my build however i dont know whats the best cfm to go for that has low noise operation and keeps your pc cool. The Cryorig QF120 Balance Series 120mm PWM Fan looks cool but it says 25db pusing 49cfm at 1600rpm max. Can anyone tell me a good cfm to aim for when shopping for 120mm and 140mm case fans and can anyone recommend a good quiet case fan thats not expensive and not full of bells and whistles (yes i dont care about rgb).

For case airflow fans, 50+ CFM for 120mm fan and 70+ CFM for 140mm fan is good.

That being said, Arctic F12 PWM (PST) and F14 PWM (PST) fans are good case fans with low noise, no LED, PWM (4-pin) and cheap price,
F12 PWM, specs: https://www.arctic.ac/eu_en/arctic-f12-pwm.html
F14 PWM, specs: https://www.arctic.ac/eu_en/f14-pwm.html
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/hhbp99,cXg323,Kpprxr,bkZFf7/

PST = PWM passthrough. Meaning that fan has additional 4-pin connector for connecting another 4-pin PWM fan (daisy chain).

I've had F12 PWM fans in use in my PC for proper cooling at low noise output. 1st time i got my F12 PWM fans, i had to check if it was turning since i didn't hear it at all. 😄
