Hi Guys can someone help me out as Dell seem to be flummoxed. I bought a Dell Inspiron 2in1 (7506) last week which should come with a discrete graphics card the intel xe max 4gb. However when I run dxdiag it doesnt show up as discrete and just shows intel xe graphics family and states 8gb and shared? Can someone enlighten me as to what is going on? The dell tech guy seemed to eventually agree it has the wrong graphics card wrt to the spec I should have. I'm wondering whether one of the many updates that needed to be done messed about with the architecture of the laptop and there is a physical discrete graphics card under the hood but some updates have made it fall back on to the integrated option of the intel 11th gen processor? Is that possible? Or have dell basically sold me a fluff machine to what they have advertised? Any tips would be welcome. I have been asked to phone the customer care team to get someone to collect the laptop to repair etc. I did have issues setting up the laptop as the laptop basically froze for over 3 hours on the "we're getting everything ready for you screen" when I switched it on for the first time.
