What option do I choose in BIOS if I’m going to install windows from an external optical drive

This might seem like a dumb question, but this is my first build and I want to get it right. The last of my parts arrive this weekend and I’ve done some research on installing the OS(I’ll be installing windows 10 Home 64 bit). And I’ve learned that you need to choose if you’re going to boot from a disk or usb in BIOS. Well I bought this disk version of windows but my case doesn’t have an optical drive slot so I’m turning the drive I bought into an external drive with [this ](http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-392-100)
So my question is, when I’m in BIOS and choosing where I’m going to install the OS from should I choose the disk option or USB?

Be sure the optical drive shows up by choosing the 'boot order' in BIOS and making sure it's at the top of the list. Then when you save and restart you should be prompted with the usual "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD."

So the optical drive will still show up as an optical drive even though it’s an external drive and connected via usb and not directly to the MoBo with a Sata cable?

Download the ISO file from Microsoft, you do not need the disc that you bought. The only thing that you need from the package that you bought is the product code.

Keep all of your hard drives disconnected during install except the target drive.

During installation you can format your target drive. When you get to the screen that asks for your product code skip that step, you can enter it after the install is complete.
