Question What part is it that's not working?

I just recently built my first pc a week ago
Asus tuf gaming x570 plus
Ryzen 9 3900x
Corsair vengeance rgb pro 2x16gb ddr4 3200mhz
Msi geforce rtx 2080 ti
Corsair rmx 850

I had finally got it up and running and started running a game on it

10 minutes into playing the game started glitching and making weird noises, the game froze as did the pc, it shut off and then turned back on but no display. (plugged into the gpu)

I noticed the cpu light was red on the motherboard.
I switched the display cable to the motherboard graphics and no display but the cpu light turns on and the vga and boot light are now on

Try to take the graphics card out and using the motherboard graphics card and see if the computer will boot with display

The 3800x has no igpu, so the video ports on the motherboard are worthless.

No when it's plugged into the gpu, the cpu light is on, but when it's plugged into the mobo, the vga and boot light are on

Okay so I tried that and now it booted up and the lights turned off so huge thanks for that. But what I'm confused as to what caused that and should I be concerned of a defective component?

Bios American megatrends ver 0807

Possibly memory related so i would suggest updating the bios to get the newer agesa version.
