What powers USB and stuff?

Hi, I'm building my very first pc out of some used and new parts. I was a little confused about what powers my USB, HDMI, etc. are they the tiny long cables with the black heads? Because I don't have those. Also, I don't know where my power button connects. I'm using a gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 motherboard (used)

I think the 5v comes straight from your power supply. the 24pin atx connector from psu goes into your motherboard, and that has the 3.3v/5v to power these devices.

the power buttons has a 2 pin and connect to the pins on your mobo (usually in the bottom right corner)
