Question what process is the originator of this ad ...

Look-up the originating site in "Notifications", I believe it is.

My dad was being beat-up with 40+ of these things when he booted-up his machine, and I had to dig-around in his system to stomp them out. (I wish I could remember fully the pathway to getting rid of them. On windows machines, I have to sit down in front of it and let muscle memory take over.)

I discovered that he was the one who enabled them by allowing push notifications from websites....those dialogues that pop-up asking you to allow or block a websites ability to "show you" notifications. Where I block each and every one, he was allowing each and every one.

i haven't enabled any notifications, and there is a section called "get notifications from these senders" with 'autoplay', 'display settings', 'security & maintenance', and 'settings' that can not be turned off. so, i am still trying to figure out where that notification originated
specifically, i have disabled all notifications, but those notifications i can not disable, and somehow, this ad came through
it's as if i didn't pay for my operating system. didn't i pay for it ? why am i getting ads ? windows 10 pro isn't feeeware, is it
