What processor should I get? Should I upgrade? Would I notice a difference during gaming?

Motherboard - 970A-G46
CPU - FX - 6300
Memory - 8gb 1600mhz (2x4gb)
GPU - MSI GTX 770
PSU - 1000w

I was thinking about getting the i7-4770K with the 'Maximus VI Hero' or 'GA-Z87X-UD4H'
or..
The FX-8350 with the 'GA-990FXA-UD3'

Should I even upgrade? Would I notice a difference while gaming? If I should upgrade, which one would be the better choice? I'm not too worried about cost, but at the same time, if it's not worth it to even spend the extra money for the Intel, then what? Go for the 8350? Or... is my hardware good enough?

I play a lot of BF4, Star Wars The Old Republic, DayZ Standalone and some other random titles.

All advice is appreciated!!

A 6300 will not be able to power SLI 770 in a lot of games like BF4, especially at 1080p (not sure what resolution OP is on).

Drop the 1000W PSU for a 650W unit and get the 4770k or 8350 (4770k is better though much more expensive). Alternatively an i5 has better price/perf.
